AQA GCSE Biology line of best fit

If the points on a graph go up and down should you connect the points with a ruler or do a curve?

You should do it with a curve, if they go up and down. If you need extra reference just go to bbcbitesize or look at some images. Best of luck!
You need to look at the general trend of the points - if the points generally go from bottom left to top right or vice versa, then you draw a straight line with a ruler - if the points are closer to a curvy shape, then you draw a curve. It is not always easy to decide, but take a "bird's eye view" of the data points, and that will help.

Best of luck from me, too!
