I got 91 in FP1 and 99 in C1. Very happy and relieved.

I just did five maths papers (two reatkes, C3 and C4) from edxecel.
and no i didn't do well on FP1, i got 62, but frankly i don't care and i'm not reatking because it got me a b overall in my further maths As (not taking to a level, i don't need it and i'm way too lazy)
i also got 76 in both M2 and S2
and then 95 in C3 and 98 in C4 i actually hugged my teacher i was so happy.

Don't fret if you screwed up this paper. I got my lowest mark in Jan 07 - that paper was totally different to all past papers and the most difficult A level paper I sat! Did not expect it at all. Just make up for it in FP2; very nice grade boundaries to work with- I barely began the last question and got 99.

For my edexcel maths now I can score 0 in D1 and get an E in both FP2 and FP3 and still end up with two As in maths and FM. *feels smug*

How is that even possible? Let's suppose you got 100% in FP1, S1 and S2 (or which ever two modules you want to use). That's 300 marks. Add on the highest possible E in both FP2 + FP3 (so that's 49 * 2). Take 0 from D1. Together that's 300 + 49 * 2 + 0 = 398 which isn't an A.

I got my FP1 result today, 90/100
I am so disappointed, I was expecting something close to 100. Since I am quite sure about all the questions my mistake is most probably from the last polar area question.

Got my paper back , and the grade boundaries seem to be ludicrous this time round.I got 57/75 raw which converted to 67/100 UMS , and using Terrafire's UMS spreadsheet I think the boundaries look a bit like this , depending what the judgemental grades were.

A - 67/75
B - 59/75
C - 51/75
D - 43/75
E - 36/75

There were five marks that I thought probably should have been awarded to me but getting a remark over those five marks would pretty much be pointless because of the high boundaries - I'd only be looking at something like 73 if I got a remark.

People sometimes just expect too much of themselves, which is not wrong, but we just can't get enough sometimes

The D1 goes into normal maths with M1. Giving me 481 minimum.

The FP2 and FP3 go along with my FP1, M2, M3 and S1...which I currently have 397/400 UMS for.

it works.

I can see what you mean, everyone gets annoyed when I say I'm really disappointed with a high B. Having said that 90% is hardly anything to be upset about unless you're Olympiad standard or higher.
