Vectors Help Urgent!

I know this is fairly simple but I've never been good at vectors:
Q) The points A and B have position vectors (3i+2j)m and (6i-4j)m respectively. The vectors i and j are in a horizontal plane.
(a) A particle moves from A to B with constant velocity (i-2j)ms-1. Calculate the time that the particle takes to move from A to B.

I did (a) a really long-winded method compared to the mark scheme but got the answer correct to be t=3.
Its (b) that i cannot do:

(b) The particle then moves from B to a point C with a constant acceleration of 2jms-2. It takes 4 seconds to move from B to C.
i) Find the position vector C
ii) Find the distance AC.

Thanks :smile:
Could you send me the answer please if you have them.

i) 10i+4j

ii) AC= 7.28
Here you go.
For AC you just do

AC = Vector C - Vector A
Find the magnitude of it.

Thank you so much :biggrin:
No problem. Have fun.
