electrolysis, learn the reactivity series, properties of group 1 metals, transition metals, halogen and noble gases too and quantitative chemistry; get that on point for sure.

I'm hoping for some quantitative chemistry. Electrolysis could pop up and definitely metals. Some kind of chemical equations for sure and bonding (ionic, covalent, giant covalent, metallic).

I bet nanotubes and/or metallic bonding will come up, don’t remember seeing it in the specimin/mock papers... electrolysis is surely a given to come up, fuel cells probably aswell.

Thank god we had the Mendeleev periodic table question in the official mocks so the chance of something similar coming up again is small!!!!,

I am using this really good website called seneca for most of my subjects and I think that there may be a 6 marker on different types of bonding and definitely will have a question on nano particles.

[QUOTE=Oliviacadden;77670194]What’s a good way to remember reactivity series?![/QUOTE

the group 1 metals up to Lithium are the first three + calcium from group two. these are the most reactive
Potassium, sodium, lithium and calcium

then the middle are MAZITL
Magnesium, aluminum, (carbon), zinc, iron, tin and lead

then (hydrogen), copper and the precious metals
(hydrogen), copper, silver, gold and platinum. these are the least reactive
