yeh as all of above said.. if you use an old MSN version then it won't save your messages for next time they log on but otherwise yep it'll just pop up when they next come on/appearing offline

Then we'll get them months later when we're at an internet cafe and start up what we think is a relevant conversation with the person.

It depends if your using a new or old version of msn. the new version saves all offline messeges but the older version does not.

Why is it so touch and go?
Sometimes you get the messages, sometimes you don't, sometimes you log in weeks later and receive a message. It's odd.

Also the amount of times i see that the message cannot be delivered

I hate how you get messages from ages ago if you've not used that computer for MSN in a while - it's like, what's the point?! Don't let the messages be sent if I'm not online! E-mail me, dammit!

Yeah, tell me about it :s: It's really hit and miss sometimes.

Even not I get the odd pop up saying someone wants to share files with me... this was when they tried a week or so ago and it didn't work.

I think I rely on messenger a little too much sometimes.
