Triple science papers

Do examiners use the average of your two papers to see which grade you got , so in one paper you get a 6 and in another paper you get a 7 what would your overall grade be

Or if you get a 6 in one paper and an 8 in another would your average be an 8

They mark each section to give the raw marks.
They then take into account any weighting i.e some sections are more important than others.
They then aggregate the marks to give the final score and compare that to the grade boundaries.
