Basically they might be scrapping a masters program at my university for next year, the entry requirements are 2:2 so I have been aiming for a 2:2, what makes this problematic for me is now I want to find a new masters program to do at a different university, however whenever I look the requirements are always 2:1, overall:

Does anyone know of a search engine for UK masters degrees where you can search for them by the entry requirements?

Doesnt exist as far as I know.

Mk1 elbow and research is your best bet.

If it does exist then you should just check out the websites which specialise in postrgrad.

Elbow grease i.e sometimes you have to put some effort in and do actual research because not everything is in a nice easy format. I could do it for you but that would be pointless.

Start with your top 20 and work down.

Yes I have but when you write: Mk1 elbow it sounds like you are talking about a place called Elbow via a milton keynes postcode.

Most of the pre-92 unis do seem to ask for a 2:1, but as far as I can see, most of the post-92 unis are happy with 2:2s.

This may be an indictment of grade inflation, because unless my memory is failing me, I seem to recall that in the 1990s/early 2000s, the entry requirement for most taught Master's was a 2:2 ('a good honours degree'), and 2:1 ('a very good honours degree') for M/Phils.
