Which of the following would allow the level of detail in an ultrasound scan to be increased ?increasing the duration of the pulses or increasing the frequency of the ultrasound

why frequency cos my rev guide says this "shorter pulses re required to produce clearer images" that s da heading under it it states something like "The pulses must be very short n the gap(which i assume is duration) between pulses must be long" pls enlighten me i am so confused dis was a past paper question n da ms(marksceme ) mentions frequency but i always thought it s pulse duration
