I truly agree with you but don't underestimate Liverpool, remember what they did to sevilla first time. Mohamed Salah is just too good.
'Salah is just too good'
He's still not as good as a 33 year old Ronaldo. 1000 less minutes (10+ Games) yet same number of goals.
And Ronaldo only plays against the big teams, 80% of his goals have come against the top teams this seasons. He's rested in every single away game since January besides Barcelona, Atletico. He doesn't need chances to stat pad against teams like Watford, he does it against Juventus, in their on own back yard.
This could easily be the other way round, and one that is feared the most. Let's hope Zidane doesn't recklessly send out his team without something in place to negate Liverpool's attacking threats.
4-3 Liverpool. We all know both teams have rubbish defence so i'm expecting a thriller. Salah to score 2, Bobby 1, Mane 1. Ronaldo to score 2, Isco to score 1

Salah has got six more assists than Ronaldo. Salah - 54 apps, 60 goals/assists. Ronaldo - 43 apps, 52 goals/assists
There is really not much in it based on numbers, and there is more to being 'good' than that anyway.

Based on the numbers you have given, Ronaldo is still better at the age of 33 than Mo Salah is in his best season he'll probably ever have.
Myth.
The second part of what I said, yeah i'll admit I exaggerated since I do support Real Madrid but exaggeration isn't a lie. He does only play the big games and most of his goals this past 2 seasons have come against the big teams because he's rested in most away games in La Liga. The last time Ronaldo was on the team sheet against a bad team was against Las Palmas when he banged in 4.

He only plays the big games yet has played 27 games in the league. Between 3rd of March to the 18th of March he scored 8 goals in 3 games against the titans of Getafe, Eibar and Girona. Those are not big games. That is the stat padding you accuse Salah of.

It's a myth.
He's actually played 25 games and Getafe are 8th. Eibar 9th. Girona 10th which makes them good teams. And you purposely went that far backwards for those 3 games since that was the only time since he's turned 33 that he's played 3 La Liga games in a row. Since those 3 games he's only played against Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Athletic Bilbao, Villarreal. Some of the biggest teams in Spain. 21/26 of his goals came against the top half teams. 15/26 against top 6 meaning A. Yes he mostly only plays against the big teams. B. Yes most of his goals are against the big teams. 80% top 10 teams. 58% top 6 teams.
Whereas, Mo Salah only scored 12 goals in the Premier League against top 10 sides 38% of his goals and only 7 against the top 6, 22%. The stats don't lie

They aren't big games for Real Madrid and they aren't big teams it doesn't matter how you dress it up. And this year especially they meant even less because they were out of the title race months ago.
And you purposely went that far backwards for those 3 games since that was the only time since he's turned 33 that he's played 3 La Liga games in a row.
March wasn't that long ago. You said he only plays big games so I posted some he's played in that were not big games where he has been stat padding as you put it. If he only played big games I wouldn't have been able to do that.

'Only plays against the big teams.' Yes, except for when he doesn't.

Actually stats often don't paint the full picture especially in football. Some of the teams Salah scored against that aren't top 10 now could have been in the top 10 when he scored the goals. A late goal to salvage a point or get a win in a game they were losing against a team in the bottom half is arguably more important than the 5th goal in a 6-0 win against a top six side. Plenty of things you aren't taking into account. It would be a better comparison if they played in the same league as well but they don't.
This whole thing is ridiculous though. You are basically trying to argue that they've scored a similar amount of goals but Ronaldo's count more. Which is retarded when Liverpool could end up winning the CL at the expense of Madrid who would have won nothing.

Those facts aren't correct on messivronaldo, I check that website myself sometimes. It adds on any minutes played in a game into a 'game played'. He's started 25 games and been subbed on twice both times being 15 minutes each. So he's technically played 25.5 games.
How can you say they're not big games for Real Madrid? Just because the league was lost a long time ago doesn't mean they give up and nothing matters. They still wanted to come 2nd or at least secure third place for Champions League. They still had a lot to play for and if I do go by what you're saying, that they meant nothing, then it's even better that Ronaldo scored as much as he did if there was no motivation or point whereas the opponents had everything to play for.
I've used the same statistics for Ronaldo so even if the teams changed positions, they changed for both of them so i'm just going by that which is a fair way of putting it. But yes it all comes to the final on Saturday but even with that I can compare Real Madrid's run of fixtures to Liverpool's and you could say nothing about it. Ronaldo's goals i'm not saying count for more, i'm saying they've come against more difficult teams and even then if you don't agree, 33 year old Ronaldo above Salah in stats for this season when this has been Ronaldo's 2nd worst season for Real Madrid and Salah's best season he'll ever have. You're the one who put up the statistic about the apps/goals&assists with Ronaldo having 1.2 and Salah having 1.1
