After sex...

Please keep anon for obvious reasons.
Okay, so.. not every time, but sometimes after sex I get, well there's no other way to describe it, fanny farts. And it's not like a fart, you can't control it, it just happens.
It happens a lot more when we've changed positions a lot, and usually less when we use a condom [I'm on the pill].
It's not really embarrassing anymore because I've been with my boyfriend 2 years and he just laughs about it, but if I was ever with someone else and it happened I would DIE of embarrassment.
I know what it is I guess.. it's just the air getting trapped in, and has to get out somehow.
But does this happen to a lot of people or am I weird? It's not the kind of thing I want to bring up with my friends to ask them, so could someone here help me out? :redface:

I get it fairly often. And once I farted properly in sex and blamed it on a fanny fart :p:

I don't think there's really anything you can do to stop them though.

Yep they're common, i normally get them more when we've changed position lots. It's just more air gets trapped in i spose, my bf just laughs it off + not as if you can help it.

haha, when this happened to me i asked my mummy and she said "it's because you're having such violent sex your tummy gets bashed about and the excess wind goes out"
and oh my god she said it in such a matter of fact way i couldn't stop laughing.
ahh i love my mum.

and i whenever i actually did it i just started giggling and then he'd stop and say "what?" and i'd say "i farted" and then we'd just fall about laughing for a few minutes then get on with it :P

It's just due to trapped air, so its common in certain positions or if you change a lot I guess. It's embarassing but just laugh it off!

I think it's more caused because of the moisture/lubrication that's already down there. Kind of like when you've got wet soapy hands and you squeeze them together and make a farty noise with your hands.

But obviously, being dry down there would make for painful sex. I think the odd fanny fart is preferable over friction burns!

Haha, yeah this happens to me too. The first time it happened to me I was like :| Oh...my....god! But my b/f was just looking at me like giggling and I was mortified! But now we just laugh it off :p:

Seems to happen most like you said when we changed positions a lot etc...still, not v pleasant. :smile:

This happens to my girlfriend a few times, including this morning when we moved positions. I think she was mortified the first time but I just laughed (mainly out of relief that she hadn't just ripped a huge fart) and that's that.
