are you talking about the trolley thing?
and how tf did you do the rock one? i was so confused because we werent given distance or mass?

SUvat wasn’t even necessary for the rock one:
T = 2.2
A = 10 (acceleration due to gravity)
v - 0 = at (rearranged from a= change in velocity over time

2.2 x 10 = 22 m/s

You were supposed to use the Earth's gravitation field strength of 10m/s^2 or 9.8 or 9.81.
Initial velocity was 0 as the stone was released from rest.

v=u+at

A lot of people on twitter are meming this question. :rofl:

ah i see, so what did u get as the answer? i think i did 22 x 9.81 or something in the end
:frown:

You literally just used a suvat equation to do it.

I chose g=9.8, so I got 21.56 as the answer.

omg so u just x the speed by 9.81 ??

Yes because initial velocity is 0.

Will my answer be marked if I wrote outside of the four black shapes in the corners of the page?

Was the speed for the rock question 22 m/s ?

Yes! :smile:

When the paper is scanned, they dont scan the black bit. The paper is marked from a computer so the examiner won't see whatever you wrote outside of it.
However if it's obvious that something is missing as you've gone out of the lines, i believe the examiner can request the physical paper
was awful
What did you guys say for the 2 errors while recording and using the table for the resistance and length of wire question??

Anomaly in the table.
Mean incorrectly calculated in one of the rows.

Thanks. I said that the data was rounded to different significant figures.

Was the mean one for the 50cm wire length, and 16 mean?
Oh well I messed up 😂😂. Got none of these answers.

What did you guys get for today’s physics test , question , where it asked for the wavelength of ultraviolet in nano meters?

I got 1*10 to the power of 23??

I got 100 nm.

I got 100 nm.

Same

Same

Wait , did you guys get anywhere in your calculations in which 1*10^-4 came up . Because I think I messed up at that point , limiting me to only 2/3 marks as I identified the correct equation and value for the 3000ghz , but didn’t manage to convert the last bit.

The answer online says it’s 1000nm ( as you will *1000 and *1000 again in which you will then *100 to get the answer)

Also I’m sorry to be like so annoying with my constant questions , but what did you get for the first three questions

I got : 5.9 tonnes , oil and 83% I think ( for the last one I did the value of coal , gas and oil over 10.6)
