Hang on, you say you've been done for plagiarism before, and you copied some of your friend's work, and now you're worrying? Why on earth would you even do that? Even if you read your friend's work for inspiration you should at the very least heavily reword.

The people who have successfully fought accusations probably hadn't plagiarised, and you've just admitted that you have. I'm not sure what you want anyone to say. If your work is partly the same as another student's work what can you do?

When did you submit it?
Have they specifically said it is because of similarities between your friend's work and yours?
Have they sent you evidence?

I'm dont understand why, after the first incident, you werent super super super careful when using other's work for a bit of a helping hand? I have nothing against using a friends work for inspiration/to get you going - I have read others work and let others read mine, but it is on the understanding that not only do you paraphrase heavily, you also check the original source and make sure of the same - even then, I have only read others to find my way, and my work has always been entirely different and just a stepping stone to going in my own direction. I'm finding it hard to empathise with you, however, I do accept that this is probably a very unpleasant experience/situation that you're going through - I do have sympathy in that respect. Unfortunately, you can only state your case, try and be as open and honest as you can, but at the same time, accept the consequences of your actions - even if it was unintentional.<br> Edit: just seen this was posted in May. Wondering what the outcome was?
