Ah dont worry, I've barely spoken to the people in my house; they all left with their parents. Will probably see them in the morning or something.

I did a bit of socialising :biggrin:

Met up with Kram, General Mullet and Hypermicrospace! Was really fun. Are you coming to the meet tomorrow? Might make you feel a little less lonely!

Not at the venue tonight? I went for a little but it was like a cattle market everywhere cos of the bar/ pub crawl.
Yeah I was like the only one in my corridor with the damn door open lol so I got bored and went a hunting in Parkwood for some friends lol

Uh uh i'm here and I feel really outta sorts, maybe cos I was actually ill last night and all of today so all I wanted to do was curl up on the sofa and order my mum around to fetch me this and that but no.... lol. I don't think my gap year made me anymore prepared at all. I can't really cook. I didn't save a whole lot and I became less social, not more. I don't know. Also, my corridor (Tyler A) seems really damn sleepy and I haven't actually really met ANYONE from my corridor at all! Hmm tomorrow is a new day but for now i'm totally knackered!

I'm in Tyler A, too, where abouts are you? Your description of your corridor sounds exactly the same as mine, apart from the occasional person walking through. :smile:

Lol! Well here in swipe card mansion much use of the internet connection is being made...but now I am desperately tired and must sleep (no doubt I'll say that and then stay awake for another 2 hours).

Haha Eiffel court is fine, heard a few people come in and out. I might call it a night though; I'm absolutely exhausted.

Gunna get up at 10, have breakfast and wander down to the sportshall to get my student ID and junk.

Hehe, we (me and my three other flatmates who've arrived) went on the pub crawl - Left one of them in Rutherford fighting to get a drink and three of us walked back to Parkwood together. Have now thoroughly socialised and am happy :smile:

The three that I've met are lovely and friendly. We've been trying to make tea for the last hour and a half and have discovered that the ignition on our gas hob doesn't work.

Easy as anything - Walked up to the sports hall, queued for about five minutes, gave my passport in and had it 2 minutes later :smile:

I actually went to the seaside :biggrin:

My Uncle came down with us and he wanted fish and chips by the sea so we went off to Tankerton which was nice and killed most of the day. Came back into Canterbury, hit Asda (never again am I going food shopping on the day a university starts moving people in - it was mayhem) and then arrived back at my flat just in time to go out on a pub crawl.

Campus is lovely, got lost once already :p:

as lush and green as it was on the open days. Seen a rabbit and squirrel or two, lol.

Just came back from the pub crawl.

My cluster/block of flats in Darwin is lovely! Have met 8 people in M so far (floors 1, 2 and 3).

Firstly moved in with the parents and then went shopping. Met 3/5 people on my floor (2) on M at that time (other than me, who would make 4/5). Then came back and went with the 3 people from my floor, and 1 from floor 1 in M to the bar crawl.
All 3 from my floor are girls, and the one from floor 1 is a boy.

On the crawl we had a lot of fun chatting and drinking :smile:

It was great. We meet lots of Darwiners. Then we gave up on the Venue (seriously, what a MASSIVE queue!) and instead went back to our kitchen with a second year who used to be in Darwin. We ate and chatted for a while, and met 2 more people, one from our floor and one from floor 1 (both guys).

After that we went back to our rooms and here I am! :biggrin:

(Oh, and I registered today as well. Pretty easy, just a long queue)

I just got back from our pub crawl, went to Rutherford Bar, Mungos, K-Bar, Woodys and The Venue (going up to the cages for Jump Around by House Of Pain is SO much fun! :-D)

Such a good night! I love my flat, i love my flat mates, i love uni. Today couldn't be more perfect :yep:
