I've heard of it...might give it a watch. I must get around to watching David Starkey's "Kings and Queens" series on 4OD for my history exam!!
    Sure beats reading!! :yep:

Anyone been watching Martin Clunes' "Islands of Britain", or whatever it's called? I'd love to live on some of those islands...it looks so nice!! I may move to the Isle of Man...the Prime Minister works in a corner shop during the weekend!!

On the plus side I'm awake for my early exam.

On the negative side I woke up an hour before my alarm and decided to get up, so I've lost an hour of sleeping :emo:

Had a **** day yesterday, one guy who I really liked and was getting to know really well on Friday had taken a major U turn - Not sure what's happened to him either, think (AKA *hoping*) he's been transferreed but he could've passed away in the night. But had a much better day today, nice patients and just the right amount of staff so just enough work to do!

No, I'm on the EAU - Emergency Admissions Unit (mainly medical, but we do have a surgical side too - further down the hospital though). Sounds really exciting but basically it's just a holding ward, if you come in with a medical problem (we get a lot of old people who've fallen, who have medical problems, some younger people who have been in fights, diabetics, substance abusers and a rather worryingly high amount of suicide attempts - apparently there's not normally that many though!) after A+E you go to us, from there you either go home or go to another ward that specialises in your problem :yep:

Oh god, if only :p: Well, kinda, but the main difference (in all shows tbh) is that doctors seem to do piss all. The nurses do a lot of the work! Oh, and we tend to not have so many murders/dead people/random issues as TV shows.

(And, ofc, Scrubs is set on an ITU, not an EAU :p:)
