Can anyone explain to me ridge-push and slab-pull and how these processes actually move tectonic plates?

Slab pull is about gravity. Imagine a coat on a desk. If a little of the coat goes off, it’s fine. A little more, it’s fine. But eventually when too much of the coat is off the desk, the weight of it will pull the whole coat off. That’s what slab pull does with plates. It is subducted and moves down a little by a little then IT ALL goes down

Ridge push is when the two plates meet and are the same density so push up and up making a volcano/ fold mountain. I believe anyway. Let me know if you have any questions
