I'm a first year undergraduate student doing Accounting and Finance in Scotland. I was just researching on which qualifications to achieve and finally decided on the ACA over the ACCA. The reason I'm considering getting the qualification from CAI is because I'd like to move and work in Ireland. So with that in mind is there a huge difference if I get my qualifications from either one of them?

ACCA is a chartered certified accountant, I think it is more common nowadays however, ACA and ICAEW are generally quite similar, these are the exemptions that chartered accountants usually have. The salary for ACA is much higher than ACCA, however, I’ve heard that ACA is alittle trickier.
