most pet stores will have adverts from owners whose cats have had or are expecting kittens, thats how i got my two kittens, however rescue centres also often have kittens ready for adoption (and are usually a lot cheaper if not free).

Battersea? I don't like how they force you to pick between animals though, in those little rooms (from what I've seen on Animal Rescue Live!).
