A level physics with level 5 maths?

So i'm on a level 8 in physics, but level 5 in maths. Will i be able to do A level Physics?

let's see what you get in gcse maths first, i've seen people go from 5 to 8s.

Well, In most schools they have this day called "freshers day" where they give you work to do over the summer holiday. If you do very well in this work you might be offered a place in 6th form.
Plus some schools might offer a lower grade to do A level Physics

The maths is quite hard for people who don't do A-Level maths. If you are doing a-level maths then you would be fine. Otherwise you would have to work quite hard

That may be quite difficult as I've heard that A Level physics and A Level maths/further maths are complimentary, and there is a lot of mechanics based content that is difficult to grasp for those not doing further maths
