Depends on what you mean tbh
1. there are jobs in optometry but more applicants than jobs available so there is competition but this is common to pretty much any industry
2. Enough money, well that depends completely on the individual, for some people £20k a year is enough, for others £60k a year is not enough. Currently in nhs a optometrist makes £25k-£83k dependent on their level
