What would happen if you miss an external exam because of health reasons? Like you were in hospital would they use your predicted grades. This is for AS btw
If you did an official mock recently they’d use that, otherwise your predicted grade would be used. In some cases, if part of a series, it’ll simply be excluded from grade calculation.

It is a myth that they use predicted grades and mock results. They don't. If the AS comprises more than one paper they may use the result from one that you do take together with evidence as to why you missed the other exam(s) to award you a grade. If not then you would take the exams at the next opportunity, or if these are linear AS exams and you are taking the full linear A level next year you would not bother with them.

Okay say if I have done one exam for each subject would they use those grades for the AS grade overall as these are external AS actual exams but a subject has more than 1 exam
