1) density of objects
2) specific heat capacity of metal blocks
3) factors of resistance in circuits
4) IV characteristics
5) investigating resistance in circuits

- might be missing out something else idk

You certainly won't be asked to go through all of them in the exam; 1/2 at the most.

The practicals you need to know are:

  1. Specific heat capacity - No one is sure about this one. It's been mentioned to death in the specimen papers but they may ask about it just to make sure that it's been covered.
  2. I-V Characteristics - The only questions you can be asked on I-V characteristics is to draw / match up the three graphs and then explaining the reasons why the graphs for filament lamps / diodes are shaped as they are. Fairly likely.
  3. Resistance of a wire - I believe this will is going to come up. There are so many questions they could ask on this topic such as:- Drawing a circuit diagram- Writing a complete method- Talking about reducing inaccuracies- Interpreting results / plotting graphs There are so many different variations of this practical that it wouldn't make sense (to me personally) if they didn't include it.
  4. Density - Just remember the method, equation and you should be alright.
  5. Insulators (Triple only) - This could come up. You just need to remember to evaluate how different materials are better at insulating than others and the thicker the material, the better it will be at insulating. Always link to thermal conductivity.

Do you have any other predictions? I feel as though there could be an evaluate different electricity generation methods e.g. H.E.P...

That could be a six mark question. Either asking you to compare a type of renewable / non renewable energy source or maybe looking at the differences between nuclear fission and fusion. That could also be linked to how the energy is used to heat water, make steam, turn a turbine etc.

But then again, who knows?!
