Thought I'd start this thread to chat about goals for the season, training, advice, t+f news etc.
Feel free to discuss your times/PBs but let's not be too.. er.. "braggadocious" about it.
A little about me:
I'm (very nearly) 16, currently taking my GCSEs.
I have never really taken running 100% seriously, preferring football. However, in autumn 2016 I began to experience chronic back pain and was essentially unable to partake in any kind of competitive sport, at anywhere near my previous level, for around 18 months.
Since returning form injury a couple of months ago, my passion for the sport has been reignited, and I have decided to dedicate myself to running, with my ultimate goals (by the time I leave school) being: Top 50 ESAA English Schools' XC, ESAA English Schools' Track qualifying standard (1500 or 3000), Sub-2, Sub-4, Sub-9 (800/1500/3000)- ambitious I know!
To introduce yourself, do something like this:
