GCSEs don’t matter...
Everyone puts so much pressure to get good GCSE results (“I MUST get all 9s”) but do they actually matter? Surely A-levels are more important for your future, so if you pass your GCSEs and thoroughly understand the subjects you’re taking for A-level then who cares if you got a 7 in Spanish?

a lot of people I know said this. the thing is you usually need minimum gcse grades to actually do the a level course. so a lot of people failed and then realised they can't do the a levels they want so now are just doing subjects they don't enjoy
