    I thought it should only hurt if your not doing it properly? The pushing with it not budging and slight pain puts me off and even though I get it in enough so that the tampon bottom is all thats visible I can never get it in much further and end up taking it out and giving up thinking 'maybe next time'. I dont try and second time then because I have dried up the blood that was there at the time and I know the second time would be even less successful with it being drier.

    Don't worry, you're not shoving a pole vault up there. it doesn't hurt when it's in the right position.

    use lubricant, like KY jelly for non-apps?

    and it wont make the tamponm expand at all before inserting if I put on some KY jelly?
