In portugal:
-If it is a plain polo, then yes, as you can get those cheap imitations everywhere
-If it is anything else then no.

This weekend i went shopping at Lacoste, and i am definitely not a chav...

I don't think so. Otherwise I would have to hide a few things from my wardrobe.

Tracksuits in general are chavvy in my opinion. But Lacoste in general isn't.

Lacoste is not chavvy at all. It's a classy sportswear brand, but some chavs wear it. If you wear it with nice jeans and trainers you'll look fine.

It's more about the overall look when you are wearing it that would make it chavvy. If you aren't a chav then you shouldn't have a problem.

Lacoste tracksuits nowadays are I would say..

However anything else that is (real) Lacoste would not be chavvy in my opinion as long as you don't go too over the top with it.
