WJEC Biology Practical exams

 I work my arse off for the actual exams, and I get As in most things.

Then when it gets to the practical exam, I completely mess up. And I don't think you can resit it either. It's so annoying, as I know the theory, yet the practicals just aren't my forte. I can do the implementation, but when it gets to the microscopy  . It's a test of being a perfectionist when drawing those diagrams.

Anyone else feel similar about them? I know they do them on other exam boards too.

did it last year. answered the planning and practical perfect according to the teacher (she read whilst going around the class and said "it cant be any better") ...drew the stupid stem cell with a sharp pencil and labelled everything right.
microscopy too. we did the magnification and stuff before hand too so just had to double check everything.

NO CLUE WHERE WE LOST MARKS. sorry about the caps. but seriously...o.o the marking for the paper was so messed. half the class failed? uhh. =/

I guess since its open book mostly people try and just copy/paste stuff exactly how it is from the book. Perhaps, it'd be a good idea to put it in your own words.
Also, depends more on the exam technique and the answer (key words) the examiner is looking for. Your answer can be as perfect but if its missing the key words from the mark scheme than you won't get the marks (?)

and I hope you dont fail either lol didn't mean to scare you off.

:O Thank you. I didn't know you had more than one chance (technically).
I had question 3 on microscopy last week, question 2 on analysis today and question 1 on planning on thursday. I walk into exams shaking, this makes me panic and mess up and I nearly had to go out of the room during my microscopy, because I couldn't actually draw a line on paper :p:

My God I need a life.
