The Student Room Group

After Sixth form...

I'm in year 12 (hopefully going into year 13) and I know that in year 13 that is when we have to decide whether to carry on in further education (uni, college, apprenticeships) or go into the workplace. I really have absolutely NO Clue what I want to do in the future. I do have a few hobbies (fashion, media, photography, film) but I like them as hobbies and I don't really want to make a career out of them. I'm always changing my mind on what to do - one day I want to go to uni, next day I want to have an apprenticeship n another day I want to have a gap year. I wouldn't mind having a gap year to decide and have a job and do a few short courses to help me gather ideas on what to do in the future but I don't want to feel behind compared to my friends who all want to go to university and I also feel like if I don't go to uni I may miss the social aspect of it which I know is quite important.
Any ideas? 😂😂😂
Thanks

Thank you 😊😊

The books are aimed at helping you understand yourself and what your ideal career might be.

Once you know that then you can decide on an appropriate degree . Dont o to uni until you know.
