The holiday was 400 something definitely

I think i put 485.
There was a question with a circle with a line touching the edge. Answer was Tangent.

The meat one was find out how much 2kg cost.
Answer was (£54/5000)x2000 = £21.60

The sweet one was (5000kg/250g)x65p = £13.00
She spent £10 and got £13.00 back making £3 profit.
The percentage profit was 30%

Who saved the most money from their salary was Isabel with 30% saved

The graph should have been a negative gradient from top left to bottom right going through (1,1)

There was a ratio question that was 1:3

Did we have to times the vector by 2 for a?

Yes...! Multiply the first vector by 2 = 2a and then add both.

I hope i put that then. I really can’t rememebr what i put and its been annoying me since yesterday. Such a simple question to lose marks on if i did get it wrong.

i wrote radius then crossed it out and changed it to diameter agghhh xD

saaaaaaaaaaaaaaadd HAHAH
Seeing a lot of “25 days” for the bike riding question!
I can confirm this is not correct, if anybody checks the Edexcel spec it states when estimating they want you to round to ONE significant figure!!
The miles rounded to the first significant figure is evidently 3000.. but people are making mistakes concerning miles per hour! We was given the value of 15 point something.. the first significant figure is 1 but the decider next to it is five so it gets rounded UP to 20!
If you done the equation with 15 instead of 20 and got 25 then it is wrong check the spec!! Xx

You’re supposed to divide the overall miles by the average speed using the speed/distance/time formula!! You’ll get that it would have taken him 150 hours to complete 3000 miles on average. You then have to divide the 150 hours into 8’s as he’s planning on doing 8 hours per day. The answer isn’t an integer, it’s like 18 point something if I remember but since they’re asking for days I’d expect they’d want you to round it off to a whole day at 19. Furthermore, since it is an estimation you’d probably have leeway of 18-21!!
It’s so easy to forget that when you’re estimating you should round to 1s.f! Also don’t worry remember only one mark goes to the “accurate” answer, if you’ve done the correct steps but got a different answer they can and probably will still award method marks my love x

I have that one wrong then. I started working it out and then came back to it but was running out of time so I worked part of it out and then guessed the answer. Think I said 28 😂

Honestly hun the amount of “25” values I’ve seen I doubt it’s gonna be a popular one to score high on!!
If you have the correct working you may grab the 2 marks for your method, even if the values inputted are wrong!
Good luck with your next two aswell! X

How did everyone find that paper? I thought the first half was okay but the last few pages were slightly grim & some rather odd questions throughout

I thought the exact same

But they told you there was 50 bungalows so that means each one was 10 so to get flats you times 7 by 10

Think you’re a bit confused
For the sweet one I put 3% profit instead of 30% :'(
