HL English unseen-The Wasps' Nest

The Wasps' Nest was a past HL English poem that came up in Paper 1, the unseen commentary exam. We went through the poem in class, pointing out key features etc. but we didn't get time to talk about how exactly we would structure a good essay on it and i doubt we will go back over it again.

Has anyone done this in class and thought of any ways that you could struture a good level 6/7 essay on that poem?

Yep! thanks for that! but that's just a general structure for any unseen commentary!

What i mean is a specific one for this specific poem, saying exactly which themes etc are going to be discussed.

hey
i dont know if you still need help since this was last year :s
but then ! you should talk about how the poet parallels the wasp with humans and that the personna feels the same as the wasp at times.
you can use the SCASI = Settings, Characters, Style, Ideas!
hope it helps.
