Extreme pornography? Could I be in legal trouble?

About a month ago, I had a dream in which I saw the most horrible image, so the day after, at about 2am, I googled, 'needle through penis porn' to confirm that I had just made it up. Anyway, I didn't find the image, so I'm assuming I just made it up, but I saw the most sickening things I've ever seen. I had to close my eyes to navigate to the 'report to google' section, where I sent two reports; the first without a screenshot, the second with (I don't think it took a real screenshot, and it was an option given by google). I have since made 2 more reports to google about 2 particular images, and then 1 report to one of the image's websites, and then 3 reports to the other image's website, because it was so heinous. I have since sent either 1 or 2 other reports to the IWF - I can't remember. I've got a reply from google saying they won't do anything about it, and no reply from anyone else. But could I get into legal trouble for having seen these gruesome images? I didn't save them intentionally, but they've presumably saved on my hard drive. What should I do?

I doubt it. If Google did nothing then it obviously doesn't matter.
If you didn't purposefully look then no. I am guessing you are under 18? Just avoid searching that in future, but don't worry I've looked at that kind of stuff too and nobody has come to my door and arrested me

Why do you think I wouldn't get into trouble for viewing this stuff? Technically I do possess extreme pornography, and I searched for it. I feel really nervous.

You can't google something and expect it not to exist

I get really nervous about these things, though. For example, I have searched for 'child pornography' and related terms many times to confirm that I'm not a paedophile, and have never found child pornography, so that's obviously censored. I was hoping that this would also be something which would also be censored, so I could put my worries at ease.

Because no one does.

I don't understand why you would do this?

The solution is simple. Stop googling potentially illegal things.

ahah there's worse stuff on the internet girl
Damn hmu with the link tho
quit porn. i did it 3 years ago and its liberating. arguably the best decision i made. why because i graduated from half naked pictures to weird **** (all i used ur standard tube sites) and it got to point where i was like should i really be doing this, is this really healthy, everyone says it is but is it? and i found nofap and saw some truth it in and gave it up. am still addicted to porn, probably always will. if i didnt quit - 3 years on id be scared of what id be watching now. but what i found interesting and noticed on tsr about porn is that ppl get so hyped up to defend it. most ppl arent gonna defend **** like smartphones, social media, excessive internet use if someone said their unhealthy cos they'd be like yeah probably right. but porn its like TRIGGERED IT IS HEALTHY I'M RIGHT YOU'RE WRONG

For example, I have wondered if I've seen a picture of child pornography and then become incredibly nervous that I have, and may even resign myself to thinking that I must be a paedophile if I can imagine this picture which I have made up. I want to assure myself that I haven't, so I google it. I'm pretty sure that I have Pure-O OCD (paedophile OCD), for example I now avoid looking at children because I'm nervous that I'll be aroused by them.

There was a picture of a penis being like cut in half (which I've reported around 7 times to various authorities). That's definitely illegal in the UK under extreme pornography law.

...you need to stop googling for this stuff. If you keep it up then yes it will look odd to your ISP. If you’re concerned about your mental health then you need to see a professional. Please don’t delay.
da fuk i got banned for saying hello to uws in threads i was browsing while this goon chats about sharing links to execution videos and its fine. fuk outta here
For the most part, I have stopped looking these things up. But could I get into trouble for viewing the picture I viewed?

OK, whether it's illegal or not is besides the point now. You can't do anything about it now, so there's no point worrying.
