Okay, and I'll obviously not be proposing ideas along the lines of chinese characters for party names as a member of the Socialists. I sent a request through the other day.
As I said in the petition, the site rules make it a no-go anyway. Your original request is down as withdrawn on our sub-forum, just let me check with our C1:

Is The Mad Dog's original join request still open to be dealt with or do they need to resubmit one?

I went into my usergroups to try and resubmit but it says my last request is still there.

Ok, then it should be still open for processing. As I don't hold an administrative position in the party I can't check, but looking at our membership requests thread it looks like your application is still open for a decision.

We'll sort it out and get back to you - there's currently a house wide bug with admitting members to usergroups so once it's been processed someone will just check if you can access the sub-forum fine and if not will contact a supermod to have you admitted manually.

It's still there, I kept it just in case this happened.

Seems I have no need to reform the MRLP after all, if I'm still welcome in your party that is?
Okie dokie! Welcome to the Party.

“What would you like to do if money were no object? How would you really enjoy spending your life?…If you say that getting the money is the most important thing, you will spend your life completely wasting your time. You’ll be doing things you don’t like doing in order to go on living, that is to go on doing things you don’t like doing…which is stupid! Better to have a short life that is full of what you like doing, than a long life that is spent in a miserable way. And after all, if you do really like doing what you’re doing, it doesn’t matter what it is, you can eventually…become a master of IT…and then you’ll be able to get a good fee for whatever it is…somebody is interested in everything. Anything You can be interested in, you can find others who are…So it’s an important question: What do I desire?”

How do you think that any level of equality can be achieved in today's society realistically. Is this not just another Socialist idealogy that cannot ever be put into practice?

Total equality is pretty much impossible to be fair but it's not hard to level the playing field between the classes in society. There's a fair few ways we're working on, our manifesto might be worth looking at.

So would you justify people who have gone to university, studied for years, got a high payed job and are living the good life, having all of their hard earned money taken away just so you can make the gap between the classes smaller. What you don't realise is that 90% of the time the rich have earnt their money fairly, and lets face it the aristocracy have got their money through no fault of their own, they can't help which family they were born into.

My major concern regarding the rich is Phillip Green types who hide behind layers of networks to avoid paying their share to the society that has given them their fortune.

And yes whilst you can't help inheriting money - you can help what you do with it.

They would hardly be having all of their money taken away.
90% of the time? any stats to back this up?
besides what is "rich" to you?
Do the Aristocracy really need all that money? I'm hardly saying lets take all their money and their assests but jesus the amount of money some people have is just greed.

I agree that everybody, be they rich or poor should contribute a reasonable amount to society and therefore pay fair taxes.
I however think that if these people who have inherited cash pay their share, they should be able to do what the hell they want with their money, I would have thought that you would agree with such a statement.

Regrettably I do not have any statistics which is why I said about, I was talking from personal observations.
The term Rich applys to those who have enough money to not feel the impact of losing, for example £1000.
Finally, it is not fair to take any money that is not what I call 'dirty' away from anybody no matter how much cash they have.

    Bring stats next time.
Hmmm it's clear to see the differences between you and us.
So do you not believe in tax at all then? or would you prefer a system whereby everyone pays a flat rate of tax regardless of income?
Each to their own I guess...

Implying the poor do not work hard, i think you need to speak to some working class workers.

    Define fair.

So do we, although we believe that a large proportion of their wealth was socially created. You take use university as an example, so i will continue with it, do you think that the poor have a genetically poorer level of intelligence that prevents them from gaining access to university, whilst the rich have are disproportionately represented in such pursuits?

You are joking right? I consider my well extremely well of and if I lost £1,000 I would be pissed... sure I will live and it won't impact my day to day life or make it harder for me to live but £1,000 lost is a £1,000 I will never party with

Why do you hate freedom? Why do you still believe in an ideology that killed millions of people? Why do you want the government to control everything you do? Why can't you look at a map and show me a successful left-wing country? Why do you think people would do their best if they received the same as someone who never bothered? Why do you think it is right to steal money from earners and give to scroungers? Why do you love red-tape? Why don't you acknowledge that capitalism works off mutually beneficial interaction? Why are people starving in North Korea? Why is South Korea so prosperous? Why don't you move to Cuba? Why was the world's most prosperous nation capitalist? Why do you feel everyone entitles you something? Why don't you pick up an economics book? Why do you hate success? Why do you take Karl Marx seriously? Why do you think you've got access to the internet? Why do you think the government is competent? Why do you think most poor people are poor? Why do you say the rich get richer and poor get poorer, when actually the rich get richer and the poor get richer as opposed to making everyone poor? Why do you think you're entitled to what I earned? Why don't you see that Labour can't run an economy? Why do you hate people who are proud of what their country has achieved? Why do you fail to see how important banks are? Why do you think equality is fair when people are naturally different? Why are you soft on terrorists who want you dead? Why do you confuse the Nazis with the right? Why don't you get a job?

A little bit/a lot. We don't keep charts, so it's quite hard to say.
