France recorded a second quarter of zero growth amid rising unemployment and a deficit only slowly falling. Do you agree with Hollande's approach and if not what would yours be.
Unfortunately for you Rakas, Hollande's approach is right wing, it's just he's hitting a wall each time he does something. Economically Hollande has told PS to **** off and they said screw yourself, he's in trouble no matter what.

Kudos to you for staying in character after all these years, when will you let it slip that you are in fact as middle class as the rest of the TSR user-base?
Technically in the UK, I am middle class, that said I do own quite a bit of land so I'd be more of the owning class than anything. France is a different story based on connections, business, property and wealth as a whole (all of which far exceed who I know and what I hold in the UK) although again I could be thrown into the middle class if you take away future wealth that I'll receive upon my father's passing which I hope doesn't happen for an incredibly long time... He'll most likely out live me

Russia is a different story altogether as once I'm married I join a bunch of criminals

As apparently global socialists do any of you support the retention of the union or do you all support weakening the left in the UK in the hope of a more realistic socialist Scotland.

Despite this being the biggest constitutional matter for years I'm not really fussed how the scots vote today in all honesty. That may sound awful but I think my reasons make sense.

In principle I support the Scots right to independence but that goes without saying obviously.

But for heavens sake if you're going to secede from the Union then bloody do it properly. I couldn't think of anyone worse to be champion of Scottish independence than the SNP and Salmond in particular. Demanding to keep Sterling and retaining the Queen as head of state... give me strength.

Scotland has the chance to break away, set up a social democratic state free from nuclear weapons and monarchy, and potentially establish itself as a successful northern European country (assuming the SNP don't mess it up). But instead they have this half-hearted plan which involves keeping the Monarchy and the pound and joining the EU and NATO.

If they want independence then either do it properly or don't do it at all. That's my two cents anyway.

This is exactly my POV as well, though I assume that the Pound is not going to be Scotland's actual currency and that the Euro/other will be phased in once it can be printed.

I have no direct evidence that this is the case but I was very much under the impression that the Socialists were keen to have a term out from government, which is why we didn't pursue an agreement heavily - although overtures were made. I'll let them correct me if I'm wrong.

Reform and rebrand. Bring in some new blood and mix things up.

Its a funny old story actually... we were unsure on the whole but where willing to listen to offers. As it happens many offers (only one) didn't appear until the final day (which was an issue since I've not had internet access due to an unplanned issue and republic is a busy chap these days too). By the time I saw the offers on the table the game was up.

Hey guys, slightly off topic but I'm sure you'll forgive me. Please sign this petition for the Green Party to be represented in the TV Leader Debates for the 2015 General Election: http://www.change.org/p/bbc-itv-chan...neral-election

The Green's are the only prominent party remaining that are left wing and pushing for socialist values and policies. They are rapidly increasing in members and polling neck-and-neck with the Lib Dems, so they deserve to be part of these debates. The petition already has 116,000 signatures in under 2 days, lets keep it going

Socialist Party update

An internal policy has just been passed suspending dual membership of the Socialist Party. All those currently 'dualing' can retain their status whilst no new dual applicants shall be considered or approved with a few exceptions.

Interesting policy. Much simpler than amending the HoC Docs.

We'd been mulling it over for some time and I was hoping an amendment regarding this alone would crop up. Turns out its easier to do it on a party basis.

Muahaha I was going to post a comment about purges but thought the better of it. Our party is pre-purged so no need

Should be interesting with you being a smaller party as well. It's arguably more in the Tory/Green interest right now to force members to commit to them since we have the relative electoral (and probably activity) advantage.

The Liberals definitely have a lot of active members right now compared to our seat total...

True, you tend to be.

Looking at the per capita output records as an indicator it seems the 5-8 MP's range is actually a sweet spot. Below that and presumably your struggling to make your mark at elections since some of the vote share comes from people who visit the House, above that and your likely carrying a lot of dead weight or voting drones.
