Mate, I don't think you're going to get much of a reply out of this poster given that the post was made 8 years ago
Also that Thud was actually the first Socialist Party leader - before we became a collective leadership.

Back when the Socialists actually did aim to win elections

Well in fairness there was no Labour party, and then there was one but it was right-wing so their vote share was teeny-tiny, and then they shifted left, stole all our members and here we are.

Why have you stuck a massive carrot in the middle? When I think of socialists I think of laziness and greed, not carrots.
Carrots make good dildos as long as you ensure they're clean.

Yes, we have a carrot in our logo because it symbolises how we're going to **** the bourgeois.

In all seriousness, why not just stick to cucumbers? No cleaning required..

The usefulness or otherwise of vegetables for masturbation is an endlessly interesting topic, but it is not, unfortunately, related to the Socialist Party, so if you're going to continue this then please take it to the bar

Despite the fact that you've used an old Labour symbol, it's a nice logo so fair play. I prefer modernism personally but it's a good style I guess.
Shhhhh we completely changed it!

Don't worry, we'll never be Labour because we have gulag memes

In short, it is community (i.e. mutual) ownership of their local resources. That way, a local community can decide for themselves if the deterioration of their local environment is worth the profits they could receive.

If I become a member of the TSR Socialist Party what would my responsibilities be? What would change for me?

Well, they do say how they have a collective leadership (no leadership), so everything I guess.

DMcGovern and cranbrook_aspie should be able to answer these questions.

Picture McGovern as Corbyn and imagine yourself at a Momentum rally in which McGovern is making speeches about treasonous stuff like the breakup of the union to thunderous applause. Now imagine your also able wag the Labour tail and make them molest business.

That's basically what being inside the Socialist Party is like i imagine.

My right honourable friend has the gist of it; McGovern is more like McDonnell than Corbyn though I'd say, more aggressive.

Hi, I'm the Socialist Party Commissar for Internal Affairs(among other things, I run internal elections and do any administrative work). So sorry for not responding earlier! To answer your question, there's no actual obligation to do anything as a Socialist Party member - after all, not everyone has time to be as active as they'd like. However, you get access to our private subforum in which you're encouraged to submit any policy ideas you have as potential legislation (other members will be happy to help write stuff up if you don't have time or are unsure how to do so) and you're especially encouraged to participate in debate in the Model House of Commons subforum - you don't have to be an MP to do this, any TSRian can contribute their point of view, and it's great fun once you get stuck in (and besides, we need as many socialist voices as we can get)

I should mention that now is a fantastic time to be joining (which, by the way, you can do here, just scroll down and click next to 'TSR Socialist Party' and then we'll process your application) - we've just gone into coalition government with TSR Labour after being in opposition for four terms, so we have a chance to get some real socialist policies on the books
