Missing a level exams

So I am an external candidate and I am resitting my a level biology exam to improve my grade. I already sat the exam last year june 2017 so i already have a grade for it.

But for some reason I dont feel prepared for this exam. so I am thinking of missing it.
what would the consequences be for me missing my exam.
Unless you're have a good reason, it means you haven't passed and will have no grades.

You'll get a U. Probably no other consequences, but unis will see you have a U even if its the higher grade that counts towards being accepted
