Would I be able to pass Physics and Maths?

I'm currently taking GCSEs and I want to go to Sixth Form, the options I've choose are Computing Science, Mathematics and Physics.

In Maths, I have recently been put on Higher (start of this calendar year) and I feel as though I can get a Grade 6 in Maths, which is what I need to get into A-Level Maths. Mathematics is something I have started to enjoy now and I really love anything involving maths (including Physics that means) and so it really saddens me when some of my teachers say that Maths isn't a good option at this rate.

I really think that if I try really hard from the start of A-Level Maths (something I didn't do in GCSE), I may be able to get a Pass or even a high grade. But I don't know. It really puts me off when teachers say that it's not a wise choice. I really want to do it though.

What do you think I should do?
