Hi! I went to visit Bristol and loved the city and all that, but in terms of the course, I was wondering if anyone knew how wide a range of music styles they allowed, I write popular music and sing and play guitar, but is it worth doing music at Bristol or will that be entirely classical?

THANKS

Hiya! Have you looked online/in the prospectus at the course content? Unless it's radically changed since my day (I did my UCAS application in 2006, but doubt Bristol has radically changed in that time), you wouldn't be able to write popular music as part of the course :nah: For a uni that would let you, you might like to look at Southampton's music course (assuming that hasn't radically changed either since 2006 ) and/or Goldsmiths's popular music course :fyi:
