A Level over 3 years as private candidate history?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me please?
I’ve signed up with edexcel for a two year a level however I suspect it might take me longer than that to compete. I’ve looked over previous courses and The History A level hasn’t hanged much over the years, so I was wondering if I could just enter when I was ready as a private candidate?

I doubt you've signed up with Edexcel as they don'f offer tuition. Have you signed up with a distance learning provider to study a specification offered by Edexcel? As far as the actual exam entries go, you can enter after studying for 5 minutes or years. The issue may well be with how long you get upport from the distance learning provider - you will need to complete the non-examination assessment within that time.
