The other section is inequalities and it is a hard section as there are higher marks. The way i revised for this is by writing out my essay, so the studies and linking flowed together. Personally, the way i remember names is finding and what their study is about is coming up with funny ways to remember them. For example, the study of carter and Coleman is carter knocked up Coleman ten times. Also, it is important to write names and what their r study is in less than 10 words, so you can remember it better by using flashcards.

a little tip- remember three or four detailed studies for each theory and their evaluation for it

hope this helps

feel free to ask any more questions

Thanks for advice I’ll take it into consideration I have used flashcards but was just overwhelmed but the content so basically I just need to know 3-4 studies for each perspective (Marxism, functionalism) or do you mean topics of the inequalities and also do I have to use studies as evaluating or can I use general ones like society has become secular/ it’s constantly changing. Thank you

You need to to know 3 to 4 studies for each theory. For example 4 for Marxism, functionalism and Weber etc. This is for each inequality.

it is recommended to use studies, if you cannot think of one then you can use a general one but it has to to be relate to the question and point

4 marks- summarise the data by using contrasting points

E- this is because
S- this is supported by this source.........
O- overall/ therefore this ensures..........

10 marks- they will ask one advantage or disadvantage of sampling/ methods, or ask two advantages or disadvantage. therefore memorise 3 advantages and disadvantages
P- one advantage is.............
E- this is because .............
S- this is supported by this source.........
O- overall/ therefore this ensures...........

P- one disadvantage is.............
E- this is because .............
S- this is supported by this source.........
O- overall/ therefore this ensures...........

25 marks- talk about theoretical, practical and ethical parts of the method with evidence of the source
T- theoretical perspective that support his method is.............. why and use source
E- which ethical support this............. consent, harm, confidentiality
P- practical advantage which support this.....why and use source

T- theoretical perspective that does not support his method is.............. why and use source
E- which ethical that does not support this............. consent, harm, confidentiality
