Don’t want to do a top up

Hi I am currently studying a HND in hospitality management at college my question is when I finish the two years and graduate with a merit or a distinction.
What if I don’t want to do a top up year to gain a degree ?
What if I wanted to do another course or change subjects for example , can I do
another 2 years HND in bussiness management or computer systems if I wanted to and would student finance still fund me?

I know student finance would finance me year 2 and year 3 on a bachelors degree but I would have to pay for year 1 I think.
