Physics materials help
I have done multiple questions where you are asked to find the tension in a rope and I that either has a mass hanging from it or where two ropes are holding a beam. In the answers you either simply use mg or have to have to use F=2E/x. I am unsure when to use which one so if someone could explain it would be a great help, thanks.
