C4 help - Integrating e^x Watch

Q: Evaluate 2\displaystyle\int^6_0 e^x \, dx

I understand that e^x integrated is e^x + c

The book answer is  2e^6 - 2

Where did the - 2 come from?

anything to the power of 0 so here e^0 is 1.
