Bf won't kiss me properly? Watch

My boyfriend of 4 months has lately become quite shy...I don't know why. we've been taking things very slow, and don't get to spend that much time with each other in comparison to most people because of weird circumstances.
Anyway, lately when we've been saying bye to each other, he's only been giving me a quick peck on the lips and then backs away. I hope he's not feeling that he's not a good kisser, because he really is!
How can i reassure him/"take the lead" as i'm a bit clueless and shy to be perfectly honest, this being my first relationship?
Oh, and i'm 99% sure nothing's wrong because he's acting perfectly fine otherwise...
any advice appreciated, thankyou

You're just going to have to be the one to take the lead, when he pulls away move up to him and actually hold him so that he knows it's not going to be a quick one. I'm a bit of a dominant one so I'm a hand on face/back of the head kind of a person, one in the back pocket too. Hm.

Just go for it, worth it in the end and he'll appreciate it loads!

the next time he just gives you a peck on the lips, stop him from moving back and say "No this is how its done"..and then like eat his face off.. trust me.. im a dude.. we like it when girls do that shizz.. its haaawt... that will probably take him back a bit but im sure it will make him think twice about just giving you a peck on the lips

Take the lead once or twice, and hopefully he'll start following suit again.

Have you talked to him about it? Communication is KEY to a successful relationship!

If he doesn't know there's something up, how can the situation get better?

When you're about to kiss him, and he pulls away, pull him back and look him in the eye. Tell him you think he's (insert compliment here) and that you love kissing him. See what happens....

Yeah "You're so gorgeous, I love kissing you" would totally work, I think.

Add in a sly smile and a hand on his face/neck/shoulder/chest and you're in!!

Put your hand on the back of his head when you kiss as if to stroke his hair - that way he can't pull away until you let go

Next time he closes in on you, push forward more than you would, and just nail him.

If you don't feel a pole type thing touching your stomache(depending how tall you are), you aren't doing it right; push harder :p:

I had a g/f I didn't like kissing, lasted a few days before I couldn't take it anymore...

Forcing him to kiss you might be a bad idea if he doesn't like kissing you, talk to him. Maybe I've got it all wrong, probably have, but there's my story.

Push him up against a wall and ravish his face!

Two outcomes exist:
1) You'll get your kiss and he'll have nowhere to run!

2) He'll be knocked out on impact and you can kiss his unconscious body.
