How do I find this out??

I've looked on my payslip and entered the 'PAYE REF' and the 'Employee Ref. No.' but both of these have been rejected due to being in the wrong format?? Surely the number should be on my payslip??

If not, any idea how I can find it out at all?? Will my boss at work have it?? :s:

A Unique Taxpayer Reference (UTR) will have been issued by HM Revenue & Customs when registering the Self Assessment account. It is made up of ten numbers eg 1234567890. You will find it on a Tax Return (SA100), a Notice to complete a Tax Return (SA316) or on a Statement of Account. It may also be on other documents.
