I think I want to work in health care but some things put me off

So I'm 18 and I think I want to be a health care assistant but there are some thing that put me off like having to clean patients and stuff so was just wondering if anyone can give me advice on this and if there are certain areas of heslthcare where I wouldn't have to do that

I think one of the main reasons I want to work in healthcare is I was in hospital for 6 weeks last year and it made me realise how amazing the people that work in the NHS are and how they made my hospital stay as pleasant as it could be
There's always parts of healthcare which are a bit displeasing.

You could look at integrated therapy or phlebotomy which doesn't really require you to clean patients etc.
If you don’t like the idea of cleaning patients then being an HCA is probably a very bad idea for you, considering that it’s one of the key parts of the role.

Time to go back to the drawing board I think, there’s loads of roles in healthcare, both clinical and non clinical, have a look on the healthcare career site to start off.
