I'll be applying for university soon (I'm currently in year 12) and I'd really like to continue studying science, however, I've only been able able to study BTEC science in sixth form rather than traditional science A Levels.
I imagine this puts me at a slight disadvantage as BTECs are less academic than their A Level counterparts. Can anyone recommend any suitable science degrees for BTEC science students?
Many thanks for your help!
P.S. If I am mistaken about being at a slight disadvantage due to me doing BTEC, please do let me know!

for many svience courses especially in top universities it requires an a level in either biology, chemistry or maths in addition to btec extended diploma in applied science. This is such a wide range can you make it more specific to assist you. are you looking at things like biochem or psychology or nursing.

I've looked at studying Biology in general, but ideally I'll be studying something like Microbiology or Biomedical Science.
