Really? I don't see why anyone would. Lying on the internet just seems so pointless.

You could probably get grades as good as most people's on here if you bother tbh. GCSE is just learning exam technique and memorising your revision guide.
Do it . Honestly I would say it's worth putting the effort in. Don't OVER do it, but do go through subjects you're not as good in as others. I was predicted B's and C's, but got the typical TSR 10 A*'s. It can be done.

(although I found out today I got predicted an E in AS maths , I'm not so sure that can be done)

you dont.

its not like someone to going to see someone on tsr with 12A*s and then go right, I'm soooo going to hunt this person down and be their friend...

maybe they were referring to the chest thumping 'I did no revision but nailed those exams' comments. but even then, i don't think people are lying, although they are probably exaggerating just a little bit.
