Hi Guys, I just went through last years paper and these items are ones which came up! Not to say you shouldn't worry about them but still!

Approaches:
Genotype and Phenotype (biological approach)
Structure of personality (psychodynamic approach)
16 marker with application (describe and evaluate the humanistic approach)

Biopsychology:
Synaptic transmission
Fight or flight (sort of came up in approaches section of AS paper)
Language centres (broca's and wernickes area)
Plasticity and Functionary recovery
Ways of Studying the Brain

Research Methods:
Types of experiment
Very maths based (graphs, statistical tests)
Design your own experiment

Feel free to add your suggestions of what it is likely to be this year!! x

I have a feeling endogenous pacemakers and exogenous zeitgebers. I think they will certainly focus more on the latter end of the biopsychology spec such as infradian, ultradian and circadian rhythms also, and I wouldn't be surprised if there was a sixteen marker in that section either.

Maybe in research methods it will focus more on the features of science and other qualitative aspects of the spec since last years was quite math based.

In approachs I think they will go back to earlier stuff such as behavioural, cognitive, social learning and biological.

I’m thinking they may throw a 16 marker on localisation of function. It’s a relatively easy question to apply and evaluate but only if u really know your stuff. Good luck anyway.

And for Approaches I think Psychodynamic could definitely come up

They put no localisation, latsralisation, rhythms, methods or anything. It was a disaster.

Am sorry that you felt that way. I got confused with the direction in the synapse and I forgot the defense mechanisms! So I messed those two up. The rest I felt was okay
