Should I stop studying for a US MOOC if applying to do Law in UK?

Hi,

the title sets out the general gist. I wanted to learn something new some I'm studying for a MOOC run through EdX by HarvardX on Bioethics and the law surrounding the sale and buying of bodily goods.

It's super interesting but the law per se is not English law as it looks primarily at US law. Will this matter? I really want to show enthusiasm for my potential course but don't want to sound like a tit if they think it's not relevant because it's not to do with English/Welsh Law.

Any thoughts?

Studying a MOOC is never a bad use of time.

You can always spin it as 'I wanted to get a different perspective on the issue so thought I'd consider it in a US legal context'.
