Are cigarettes and tobacco too expensive?
The cost of cigarettes and tobacco is ridiculous. You can not buy a pack of 20 ciggies now for under £8. They stopped doing packs of 10s a few years ago presumably because they want people to part with more money. As for E Cigs I can’t see the point. Most the interesting people at college smoke real ciggies.
I know they need to increase the price for social reasons but charging people £8 minimum for 20 cigs is just stupid. They shouldn’t cost anymore than £4 a pack and bring back smaller packs which would be cheaper.
Hopefully when we get out of the EU the price of cigarettes will fall.
