So basically I’m in the first year of college (yr 12) and I’m studying A-level law, RS and sociology. For gcses I got 1 A*, 1 A, 2 B’s, 5 C’s and 1 D. (Clearly not the best grades since I wanna study law at uni and maybe do something law related) . Starting alevels I wanted to get atleast all A*/A’s with maybe a B (basically high grades). However, when starting college I delayed revising and I feel as tho I messed about like instead of doing work and revising in my frees I’d go out with friends etc. This happened frm September to December. I also never did my jan mocks since my grandad past away so I was abroad in Pakistan for a month and a half which obviously set me back completely. A couple months later in April my step mum passed away so I was off for a whole week. This year along with not revising frm the get go I feel as tho my mental health hasn’t been the best either for obvious reasons. I also feel at the current college I go to I don’t revive enough support and am scared to ask for help as they may seem to think I’m not smart enough for alevels etc. So I basically wanna restart year 12 but idk whether to carry since now our actual exams are at the end of two years and Idk if I’ll be able to push up my grades however I’ve got my ucas predicted grades in 3 weeks and Ik I’m not gonna do well since I’ve obviously put off revision for the majority of the year. I also don’t wanna restart cause I feel as though this years has gone to waste and I also wanna take a gap year after alevels, if I restart and take a gap year in which I wanna volunteer abroad etc I’ll end up going uni at 21/22 and I don’t really wanna delay uni either. However if I restart I wanna go to my schools sixth form as I feel the support I received there was far better and they have extra activities like enrichment which may look good on my personal statement. Also it’s much closer to home as it’s only 5 mins away whereas my current college is a 45/50 min college bus journey which I feel like is just a waste of time. I really dunno what to do pls help 😭
